夏爾馬駒

The foal's build is already sturdy like its draft ancestors, and I love watching it settle into that calm Shire temperament. It’s been eating well and seems to adapt quickly to the barn routine.

The legs are surprisingly well-defined for a foal, and the height is already noticeable next to the Belgian. It’s got that steady draft temperament, though I wish the description went deeper on its medieval war-horse history.

This foal is already showing the height typical of the breed, standing noticeably taller than our other draft horses. The build is sturdy but still has that young, gangly look you’d expect. Only four stars because it’s been a bit more timid around the farm than our last one.
