拉布拉多犬

We got him mostly as a family pet, but his old fishing instincts are real: he'll carry a rope or net back to you without any training. The companionship

My lab has been fetching ropes and hauling things around the yard since week one, which is exactly what I wanted from a working breed. He's also gentle enough with the kids that I don't have to worry. Genuinely the best decision we made this year.

The whole reason I picked this breed was the working history, and it shows — he hauls the rope toy back to me like it's a net that needs pulling in. Friendly with everyone at the dock too, which I didn't fully believe until I saw it.
