黑冠獼猴

I expected something closer to an ape, but that stubby little tail makes the monkey classification obvious once you see it up close. The face is what really got me though, that crest of black fur is way more striking in person than in photos.

The tail situation is genuinely fascinating—it's so short you'd swear this was an ape at a glance, but up close the monkey traits are unmistakable. Perfect for anyone who loves primate trivia and wants a conversation piece that's scientifically accurate.

I expected an ape at first glance, but the nearly absent tail gives it away as a macaque every time. Settled in quickly and the crest of black fur looks exactly like the photos.
