The modern-day unicorn is depicted as a white horse with a long spiraled golden or white horn coming from its forehead. This has not always been so. In medieval times, the unicorn was considered to be the size of a donkey or goat. It was white, but had the head of a deer, the body of a horse, the tail of a lion, the beard of a goat and cloven hooves. It was a symbol of purity and faithfulness and was thought to be untamable.

Andrew ★★★★★

I’ve been reading up on unicorn lore and was delighted to see this one follows the older medieval descriptions. The white horse body and long spiraled horn feel authentic, not cartoonish. My daughter hasn’t put it down since it arrived.

Eva ★★★★★

The spiraled golden horn detail is what sold me—it’s carved with such care that it catches the light from across the room. My daughter keeps reaching for it, and the white finish has held up well to her constant grabbing.

Lily ★★★★★

My son has been obsessed with the white horn ever since I unboxed this. The spiraled gold detail is even prettier in person than on screen. It’s become his new favorite bedtime companion.
