While they are small in stature, Tinker horses are muscular and strong. They are used as draft, or work horses. The Romani people use them for pulling heavy carts filled with wares and possessions. These horses can also be used for showing in western and driving competitions, as well as dressage. They make fine companion horses as they are docile, kind, intelligent and deal well with children.

Violet ★★★★★

We needed a horse that could handle rough roads and heavy loads, and this one has the muscle and build for it. The way it powers through muddy patches without tiring is impressive.

John ★★★★★

She pulls our cart through muddy lanes without breaking a sweat, her compact build perfect for tight turns. The steady, patient temperament makes her a joy to work with daily.

My Tinker mare has the strongest, most solid build I've ever worked with—she pulls our loaded cart without breaking a sweat. Even though she's not huge, her muscular frame handles the steepest hills on our property. We've had her for a few months now, and her steady temperament makes daily chores so
