The wolf is thought to be an ice age survivor, dating wolves around 300,000 years ago. The wolf is accepted to be the ancestor of the domestic dog as the wolf is thought to have selectively bred in order to breed appealing traits typical of puppies and to eliminate the not so appealing traits of adult wolves.

Hazel ★★★★★

The carving on this wolf captures the ancient, rugged look I was hoping for—the fur texture feels surprisingly lifelike. It's a solid piece that adds a bit of prehistoric weight to my shelf, and it arrived well-packaged without any damage.

Christopher M. ★★★★★

Finally pulled the trigger on this standing wolf figure—the detail on the fur texture is surprisingly good for the price. It's got a nice weight to it, feels solid on my shelf.

Carter ★★★★☆

It arrived with a slightly dusty feel, but after a quick wipe the detailed fur and realistic stance make it a nice display piece.
