The platypus is known to have extremely weird characteristics such as egg-laying, otter-footed, duck-billed and beaver-tailed. The platypus also has weed feet similar to an aquatic bird like a duck so it is no wonder than when the first European encountered the platypus, no-one would believe them about the animal they had seen.

Kevin E. ★★★★★

I was curious about the egg-laying aspect, and this little guy doesn't disappoint—it's such a strange but fascinating feature. The duck bill is surprisingly detailed and gives it that classic goofy charm.

Steven ★★★★★

Those webbed feet are really something - makes sense since they're built like a water bird. My kids are obsessed with the beaver tail and duck bill combination, it's honestly the weirdest animal we've ever read about.

Thomas ★★★★★

I had no idea a creature could combine duck feet, a beaver tail, and fur so seamlessly; it's genuinely fascinating how all those weird features fit into one animal.
