Giganotosaurus was one of the largest meat-eating dinosaurs. It roamed modern-day Argentina during the late Cretaceous Period, about 99.6 to 97 million years ago.

For a long time the T. rex was thought to be the largest carnivorous dinosaur. Today, Giganotosaurus is believed to have been slightly larger than a T. rex, though even Giganotosaurus ranks behind in size among the more recently discovered meat-eating dinosaurs.

Brian P. ★★★★★

The articulation on the legs and tail lets me pose it mid-stride, which really shows off how massive this Giganotosaurus is compared to my other dinosaur figures.

Victoria X. ★★★★★

My son hasn't put this down since it arrived — the sculpted teeth and claws look surprisingly realistic for the price. It's big enough to stand out on his shelf next to his other dinos, and the articulation in the legs is solid.

Andrew ★★★★★

The level of detail on this Giganotosaurus figure is incredible—you can really see why it ruled Argentina's late Cretaceous. My son has been obsessed with the fact that it may have rivaled T. rex in size, and this piece brings that comparison to life. It's sturdy enough for play but looks great on h
