The Appaloosa horse is known for its spotted patterning. Spotted horses have been part of history for thousands of years, with leopard-spotted horses dating back to the stone age in Europe. The spotted horses probably arrived in America with the Spaniards in the 16th Century and they eventually reached Northern America.

Henry ★★★★★

Brought him home yesterday and he’s already the calmest horse I’ve owned—his spotted coat is even more striking in natural light, with those classic leopard-like markings that really pop.

David ★★★★★

The spotted pattern on this guy is gorgeous—each marking is distinct and really captures the Appaloosa look. He’s got a sturdy, well-balanced stance that makes him feel authentic. I’m really happy with how true to breed he turned out.

Sofia ★★★★★

This horse's conformation is really well-proportioned, and the leopard spotting on the hindquarters is crisp and clean. It stands nicely on its own four legs, which is a detail I've come to appreciate.
