Eagles are dominant predators and are known as birds of prey. Eagles feed off smaller birds and bats in the sky and smallmammals and fish on the ground. The eagle is well known for it's incredible eyesight. An eagle's eyesight is so good that an eagle can apparently see a mouse on the ground when the eagle is still high in the sky.

Grace T. ★★★★★

Watched one spot a fish from way up high and dive straight down without hesitating once. The eyesight on this thing is no joke, it spotted movement in the water I couldn't even see from the boat.

Stella V. ★★★★★

The way it locks onto prey from hundreds of feet up is unbelievable — those eyes really are incredible. Had one scan the field and I swear it saw a mouse move.

Riley ★★★★★

Watched one perched on a snag across the lake for almost an hour, and its eye never seemed to miss a thing. The way it tracks fish and small mammals from that height is unreal.
