African elephants are the largest land animals on Earth. They are slightly larger than their Asian cousins and can be identified by their larger ears. (Asian elephants have smaller, rounded ears.)

Elephant ears radiate heat to help keep these large animals cool, but sometimes the African heat is too much. Elephants are fond of water and enjoy showering by sucking water into their trunks and spraying it all over themselves. Afterwards, they often spray their skin with a protective coating of dust.

Joseph ★★★★★

The ears are the first thing you notice—bigger and more rounded than the Asian kind, just like the description says. It's a solid, well-made piece that really captures the size of these animals.

Eva ★★★★★

My daughter was over the moon when this arrived — she carries it everywhere. The trunk is so realistically curled and the ears are massive, just like the description says.

Ryan ★★★★★

The ears are impressively large, just like the description said, and it adds so much realism to the piece. I've had it on my desk for a few days and keep noticing new details in the texture.
