Groene Grasparkiet

My little guy has so much more personality than I expected, chirping at me the second I walk in the room. The description cleared up that he's technically a parakeet, which I never knew before. Two months in and he's already hopping onto my finger.

I finally learned the difference between a budgie and a parakeet, thanks to the description, and it turns out my little guy is the common pet bird type. He's settled in nicely and chirps at me every morning.

Wasn't expecting much beyond a basic little bird, but this budgie has real personality — chirps at me the second I walk in the room. Turns out "budgie" is just the common name for these small parrots, and I get why they're so popular as pets.
