The armored plating on this thing is insane — you can actually see the segmented plates along the head. It's elephant-sized, which really puts the "Tyrannosaurus of the seas" nickname into perspective. My kid hasn't put it down since it arrived.

The sheer size of this thing is what got me — as big as an elephant, and it actually looks it on the shelf. The armoured plating on the head is detailed enough that you can see where it would've crunched through whatever swam too close.

I didn't expect a prehistoric fish to look this intimidating sitting on my shelf. The sheer scale is wild—elephant-sized, apparently—and the detail on those jaws really sells it as a top predator. Honestly the best piece in my collection so far.
