クロヒョウ

I didn't realize panthers aren't their own species until I read the description — they're actually big cats found across Asia, Africa, and the Americas. Learning that made the whole thing way more interesting to me.

My cat was a gift from my wife; we’re amazed at how silently it moves through the underbrush—much quieter than the lions we’ve seen on safari.

The melanistic coat is what really sold me, solid black from nose to tail with those faint rosettes still visible in good light. Knowing it ranges across Asia, Africa and the Americas makes it feel like a genuine big cat rather than some regional curiosity.
