Tigre en chasse

The stripe work on this piece is unreal—each one is distinct and flows naturally with the pose, so it feels like it could spring off the shelf any second. The hand-painted finish is far richer in person than the photos suggest, and it’s already the centerpiece of my desk.

I had to stop myself from buying a second one just to keep it in its box. The hand-painted stripes are so detailed that you can see the brushstrokes up close. This piece really makes the jungle feel alive on my shelf.

The way the painter captured that tense, poised stance makes it feel like it's about to spring right off the shelf. The coloring is incredibly vibrant, especially the deep orange against the black stripes. It’s a striking piece that really stands out on my mantle.
