Le nom Brachiosaurus vient de mots grecs signifiant « bras » et « lézard ». Ce nom fait référence à la particularité intéressante des pattes du Brachiosaurus, qui étaient plus longues à l'avant qu'à l'arrière.

Abigail B. ★★★★★

The front legs being longer than the back ones makes this model look so much more realistic than the standard T-Rex figures my nephew has. He spent a whole afternoon just staring at the proportions and asking questions.

Ruby ★★★★★

I've always loved dinosaurs, and this model's scientific accuracy really stands out. The way they captured the longer front legs from the Greek meaning is spot on.

Carter ★★★★★

I've been reading up on dinosaur anatomy and this entry on Brachiosaurus really nails the explanation of those Greek roots. The detail about the front legs being longer than the back ones finally made it click for me.
