Koi-Karpfen - Kin Matsuba

The hand-painted detail on those gold-and-black scales is seriously impressive up close—each one looks intentional, not just stamped on. It’s a solid little model that feels sturdier than I expected, and it’s already sitting on my desk as a conversation piece.

The gold and black scale pattern on the Ki Matsuba is even more striking in person—the hand-painted detail really makes each scale pop. I was surprised how solid and well-finished it feels for the price. It's a perfect little piece for anyone who loves koi or wants a unique educational model.

The metallic gold scales catch the light beautifully on this one, and the black accents are crisp. My only small complaint is the tail feels a bit delicate, so I'm careful handling it during water changes.
