Hannoveraner Fohlen Schwarz

The way this foal's proportions are sculpted—those long legs and that slightly awkward, gangly build—just nails the real look of a young warmblood. I've been staring at the details of its coat and finding something new every time, and the history of the breed really comes through in its stance.

The coat on this Hanoverian foal has a realistic sheen that catches the light nicely, and the legs feel sturdy enough for a young horse model. I'm impressed by how well the warmblood breed characteristics are captured in such a small figure.

Bought this for my daughter's collection and the lineage detail on the breed's 17th-century Spanish origins is exactly what we were hoping to teach her with. The warmblood mix history is spot on, and it feels like a sturdy piece that'll hold up on her shelf.
