The partially webbed feet are the detail I keep coming back to, they really do make it look effortless whether it's paddling or hauling itself onto a wet bank. Mine stays near the water almost constantly, which is exactly what I hoped for.

Watching this one paddle around the enclosure, those partially webbed feet really are something — it moves through the water way smoother than I figured a monkey would. Never thought I'd spend 20 minutes just watching an animal swim, but here we are.

I wasn't expecting the partially webbed feet to make such a difference, but it paddles around the pond near my house without any trouble at all. It stays close to the water just like the description said, and honestly it's become the highlight of my mornings.
