بلو غروبر

Watching mine shift from its initial female phase into that brilliant adult blue as it matured was honestly fascinating. The whole terminal phase transformation played out right in my tank, and the color change is stunning.

I was really surprised to learn that these fish start out as females and can change sex as they mature — such a fascinating life cycle. The description of their color phases from initial to terminal is spot on, and the adult coloring is even more vibrant in person.

The color transition between the initial phase and terminal phase is really striking, much more vivid than I expected from the photos. It’s fascinating to watch the details change as it matures, and the sculpt is incredibly clean.
